BALESTRATE: Sicciara until 1820 was called, and its inhabitants call it Balistrati. For the rest of Italy is Balestrate, but beyond a name, which contains a bit 'of history but not enough to make us live a dream, one aspect they all agree: it is a charming seaside resort, between the smaller seaside resorts but also the most valuable of the Sicilian coast. Stranded as a gem along the Gulf of Castellammare, Balestrate is in the province of Palermo and has about 6500 inhabitants, borders on the territory of Trapani and is the second marina and fishing port of the island.

SCOPELLO: A cliff that looks red in the east, overlooking the Gulf: here stands the ancient village of Scopello (from the Greek Skopelàs: rock) a few kilometers from the town of Castellammare del Golfo, near Trapani. A seventeenth-century beam (from the 'Arab Bahal: courtyard). surrounded by a few houses built, with a paved square, a stone abbaveratoio. High, the tower Bennistra (sixteenth century) overlooks the green valley. More up at the dizzying mountain Sparagio (1200mt), the wood of Scopello, once the home of deer, wolves and wild boars, recalls the hunting of Ferdinand III of Bourbon, who elected him to the rank of royal reserve.

RISERVA NATURALE ORIENTATA "ZINGARO", the first reserve in Sicily entrusted the Regional State Forest Management Company. Today, the Reserve extends across the western Gulf of Castellammare, in San Vito lo Capo peninsula overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea between Castellammare del Golfo, Trapani. The territory lies for much of the town of San Vito lo Capo and to a lesser extent in the town of Castellammare.

SAN VITO LO CAPO is a popular seaside resort, especially for its beautiful coast that opens in a beautiful bay and beach and crystal clear water that is tinged with shades from blue to green to clear deep blue .
